The purpose of CAPE is to support and serve homeschooling families in the Yakima area. Their intent and direction are Christian-based; however, they welcome families with other beliefs. They offer monthly meetings, workshop, speakers, curriculum exhibits, field trips, P.E. classes, an annual project fair, a speech and drama festival, a newsletter, and more.

LEARN is an inclusive non-profit homeschool support group in the South Puget Sound region of Washington State. While most LEARN members live in Thurston County, they also have members in Pierce, Mason, Grays Harbor, and Lewis Counties. Its purpose is to offer member families quality opportunities to augment their own educational efforts on a cooperative basis. LEARN offers field trips, a newsletter, shared (co-op) activities, mom's meetings, used curriculum sales, and more.

WHO is nonpartisan, nonsectarian and non discriminating in its views of homeschooling and participation in its activities. Its purpose is to disseminate information about homeschooling to those interested, and network homeschooling families with people and resources. In addition they play an advocacy role for homeschoolers with the state legislature and the public school system. |
